Serving on Groups that Make Decisions: Processes that Groups Use

Tuesday, February 7, 2017 -
12:00pm to 1:00pm

The most effective groups use processes to guide their work, and a clear process sets the direction towards the group’s goals. So many times we are on committees or in meetings but don't know what is supposed to happen or how to fully participate. This webinar will introduce you to a resource to help you navigate decision-making groups and learn about the principles and processes that guide decision-making groups. (Section 3 of 8)

WI FACETS, as part of the State Personnel Development Grant, has a resource guidebook titled Serving on Groups That Make Decisions: A Guide for Families. This guidebook was created through as stakeholder process to support parents, educators, service providers, and other professionals serving on decision-making groups.

Vicki Davis Davila is the director of the State Personnel Development Grant & Milwaukee Public Schools Initiative Grant at WI FACETS.  Her work involves educating and empowering parents and families to be engaged & effective decision-makers in their child's life.
