DESCRIPTION:This webinar contains information on how technology can support early literacy, as well as apps that support foundational reading skills. There are many benefits to using technology as a tool to support early literacy.  We will discuss using developmentally appropriate software and Internet resources that support early literacy

PRESENTER: Mildred Starks completed her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction concentrating in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Early Childhood Leadership & Advocacy. Her professional history includes both being an early childhood educator and managing early childhood programs. She has a special interest in social-emotional learning, particularly in the area of literacy. She has also trained extensively on a variety of early childhood, literacy, and professional development related topics.
