Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about the success a few of our interns have had and where they are now.


Theresa Brugger graduated from Alverno College with a bachelor’s in Art Therapy. She started with Goodwill 12 years ago and has been with Supported Employment for the last 9 years. Theresa is currently the Manager of Community Employment and Connections, where she oversees, Community Access, Supported Employment, Project SEARCH and Beyond Work programs.

Danielle Peterson graduated from UWM with a bachelor’s in Business Administration-Human Resources. She started with Goodwill 13 years ago and have been with the Supported Employment team for the last 6 1/2. Danielle currently supervises the Job Developers in finding community employment for individuals with disabilities and Project SEARCH staff.
