Description:

This session explores how everyday moments—such as mealtime, bath time, errands, and bedtime—can become rich opportunities for building language and early literacy skills for young children with disabilities. Participants will learn simple, strength-based strategies that embed talking, singing, reading, and visual support into familiar routines at home and in the classroom. Practical examples will show how all forms of communication can be celebrated and supported to foster joyful early literacy development.
