Participants will learn how brain science informs more effective strategies to support children and youth with ADHD at home and at school.

PRESENTER:

Nomsa Gwalla-Ogisi, Professor at UWW in the College of Education and Professional Studies (COEPS), is a former public school teacher of social studies, history, biology, and Special Education in areas of Emotional/Behavioral Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Early Childhood Special Education, and Intellectual Disabilities. Nomsa has taught at universities in several countries both in general and special education. She consults with the U.S. Office of Special Education Programs, school districts nationally and internationally. She has trained with leading researchers in the field of ADHD, but also speaks from personal experience having raised children with ADHD.
