This workshop will explore how schools are working to improve behavior outcomes using the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program in Wisconsin. Concrete PBIS school activities will be explored along with information on how parents can support their children using PBIS at home.

Apoyos de Intervención de Comportamiento Positivo – Este taller explorará cómo las escuelas están trabajando para mejorar los resultados de comportamiento utilizando el programa de Intervenciones y Soportes de Conducta Positiva (PBIS) en Wisconsin. Se explorarán las actividades escolares concretas de PBIS junto con información sobre cómo los padres pueden ayudar a sus hijos utilizando PBIS en casa.

Presenter:

Samson Srok is the Bilingual Outreach Coordinator for the Wisconsin Family Assistance Center for Education, Training, and Support, Inc. He recently completed his Bachelors’ Degree in Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is excited to be back home in Milwaukee. Samson is passionate about community development. He also works at the the Fondy Food Center, which aims to increase access to local, healthy food in Milwaukee. When not working, Samson takes care of a very sweet and nervous Rat Terrier named Elliott.
