Description:

Research shows one of the most effective ways to reduce stigma associated with mental health and/or substance use challenges is through relationship building – hearing each other’s stories and feeling a connection with others helps us challenge stigmatizing beliefs when they arise. This finding informed the development of Up to Us, an informed disclosure program that helps one explore effective ways to communicate their personal narratives regarding their loved ones’ lived experiences.
