Families of children with disabilities often need trusted information, resources, and encouragement as they navigate complex education and support systems. WI FACETS volunteers help ensure that families across Wisconsin can access the guidance and support they need by sharing resources and connecting families to our programs and services.

Parent Leadership
WI FACETS occasionally offers Serving on Groups training for families to enhance their confidence in participating in decision-making groups that impact their children’s future. Whether you attend live sessions or complete the online modules at your own pace, you’ll feel better prepared to engage in these discussions. For more information, visit the Serving on Groups website or check our calendar for upcoming training sessions.
Volunteering
Make a difference in your community by becoming a WI FACETS Ambassador!
WI FACETS offers opportunities for individuals who are passionate about supporting families and sharing valuable information and resources. As a volunteer, you can help expand our outreach efforts by representing WI FACETS at local resource fairs, connecting families to our training and Help Desk line, and distributing educational materials on topics such as Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and special education.
Volunteer opportunities are flexible and can range from one event per year to multiple activities throughout the year, depending on your availability and interests. To learn more about the WI FACETS Ambassador Program, call 1-877-374-0511 or contact Nelsinia.
